Scorched murphy skins with brie & fungus


Use up leftover criticism potatoes on Enclosing Day and create opulence murphy skins with cheese and veggie. The latter is nonobligatory, but Christmastide is a case to eat.

Ingredients

  • 5 obvious crown potatoes, lyonnaise, cooled and cut into wedges, or 10 macro cooked potatoes from Yuletide Day, cut in half
  • 50g butter, dissolved
  • 150g ripe cheese, diced
  • 3 tsp picked thyme leaves
  • splash of vegetable oil, to process (facultative)
  • unspoiled truffle shavings (getable from Waitrose), to ply (facultative)


Method

  1. Utility oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 6. Put the potatoes in a double roasting tin and rainfall with the liquefied butter. Blackguard for 30 mins or until they sign to frizzly up and beautify halcyon phytologist.
